Utilizing the color white (as also seen in the album cover), music video stills, and a circular shape made of rounded off squares (reminiscent of a view master slide), the song encapsulates the feeling of longing to go back to specific time and place. The circular shape is filled with photos from the music video to highlight memories and moments worthy of being remembered, as well as distorted colors and shapes that reminds the audience that memories once clear, can become fleeting and disjoined by our experience with a specific person or place.
I wanted the poster to be simple yet impactful with motifs of nostalgia and memories throughout the image. Using texture, it builds upon the illusion of an aging photograph. The fonts are also hand written, adding to the human nature of the song and the vibes of the poster overall.
Image Stills from the Remember! music video. These photos were used in the view master shape around the main image as well as spread around the poster. The image captures a range of emotions from nostalgia to joy and acceptance of the past and moving on to the future.
